Poldhu Cove Photos

Poldhu Cove Photos, Cornwall. A beautiful beach with a cafe, car park and public toilets. Life guards patrol in the summer and it's West facing meaning that the surf and the sunsets are fantastic. In the summer, especially at high tide, space can be limited as the beach is only quite narrow, so it's best to get there just after as the tide is going out. The Marconi centre is also worth a visit, just a short walk up the cliff from here. This is where Marconi sent the first trans-atlantic radio signal from, proving that radio waves follow the curvature of the earth! A mile up the road is the busy village of Mullion where there is a choice of pubs for lunch, a Spar shop and a pharmacy.
