A Little Bit About 'Picture of Cornwall'

Originally from the Midlands, my family moved to Cornwall in the early 80s. Having holidayed here since I was born the decision to follow them in 2003 was an easy one.  Now living on the beautiful Lizard peninsula with a young family of my own, we are spoilt by the wealth of stunning coastal walks, beaches and activities that are available.

Always interested in photography sine my first instamatic camera bought for my birthday in 1976, my hobby has now developed into more of a passion.  My camera goes everywhere with me, because you never know when that unexpected sunset, atmospheric mist or fantastic wave are going to happen.  Most of my best shots have been from these opportune moments rather than a planned 'shoot'.

The light here in Cornwall has been discussed and enthused about by artists for decades and longer. I never really took any notice until I started taking more photos. There is a special 'glow' that's most evident at dusk or dawn, as the available light is reflected off both the sky and the sea. That's the best time for that cliff top walk or stroll along a deserted beach - you never know what you will end up with.

Most of the work on this site is my own although there are a number of shots from friends and acquaintances who share my passion.  Shooting only with top quality 'full frame' professional digital cameras ensures crystal clear quality every time. Each print or canvas is made to order using high resolution professional quality printers, papers and inks. This ensures the finished product is of the highest possible quality and I take personal pride in producing each order to the best of my ability.

Packaged securely and delivered to your door for free, your picture will give years of pleasure whether for yourself or as a gift.
